Advantaged by their position within a top-ranked research university, Dodd graduate students are pursuing innovative, interdisciplinary research in the fields of art, art education, and art history.
Graduate students host their own lecture series, curate exhibitions in the Dodd Galleries, and host a biannual symposium for graduate students and emerging scholars at the Georgia Museum of Art (GMOA). In addition, graduate-student research in the visual arts is showcased annually at the MFA exhibition held at the Athenaeum in downtown Athens.
Support for graduate student research comes from the following organizations and institutes: Willson Center for Arts and Humanities, UGA Arts Collaborative, and the Art History support fund, which is made possible by the generosity of private donations.
