The Lamar Dodd School of Art is proud to announce that two alumni are making headlines in national publications like the Chicago Tribune for their accomplishments relating to the COVID-19 outbreak.

Alissa Eckert (2004) and Dan Higgins (1993), medical illustrators at the CDC, are responsible for creating the image that is now in the minds of people across world. Eckert and Higgins researched the structure of the virus and created the illustration.
