DESCRIPTION:Banner artwork courtesy of MFA student Katherine Rutter.&nbsp;The Valley of Lost Things, 2022.\n&nbsp;\nThe Lamar Dodd School of Art welcomes prospective applicants to our graduate programs in studio art, art history, and art education to attend virtual information sessions to learn more about the&nbsp;application process&nbsp;and address additional inquiries about curriculum, facilities, and more.\nThe November 1 session will discuss our Master's in Art Education (MAEd),&nbsp;Education Specialist (EdS) degree in Art Education, and our PhD in Art Education.\nPlease note—Registration is required to attend this virtual session. Register&nbsp;here\n&nbsp;\nAbout Graduate Studies in Art Education at the Lamar Dodd School of Art\nThe Art Education program at the Lamar Dodd School of Art is grounded in critical, experiential, and interdisciplinary inquiry. Faculty and students benefit from close proximity to the Georgia Museum of Art, partnerships with schools and community organizations&nbsp;in diverse settings, and the expertise of renowned studio and art history faculty within the School of Art. As a community of art&nbsp;educators&nbsp;we explore the intersections of contemporary art, histories of art education, visual culture, service-learning, social&nbsp;justice, and digital technology.
