DESCRIPTION:The Dodd Galleries is pleased to present three new exhibitions. Flat Earth: a Visitation features paintings by Atlanta-based artist Pam Longobardi, the recipient of the 2021 Margie E West Prize, an annual prize given to an esteemed alumni from the Lamar Dodd School of Art. In Pinky Promise, Jacob Wan and Dodd MFA candidate, Lila Villalobos create parallel narratives in their work to examine humanness and how love and experience shapes one’s understanding of the world. 8.19% exhibits the work of undergraduate and graduate members from the newly formed Black Artists Alliance at the Lamar Dodd School of Art. Continuing in the Lupin Gallery is a series of "cloth paintings" by Atlanta-based artist, Dawn Williams Boyd.
