New $40 million Visual Arts Building The Lamar Dodd School of Art will join The University of Georgia’s Performing and Visual Arts Center, located on East Campus, in a new building, designed by Menefee & Winer Architects, which will provide state of the art facilities for graduate and undergraduate studio and art history programs, as well as providing faculty studios and administration offices.
The original vision for the Performing and Visual Arts Complex, to provide interdisciplinary opportunities to visual and performing artists, will be brought closer to reality when the School of Art comes to East Campus.
