David Brooks Visiting Artist Lecture

David Brooks (born 1975, Brazil, Indiana) is a New York-based artist. He has exhibited at the Dallas Contemporary (2010); Tang Museum, NY (2014); Nouveau Musée National de Monaco (2011); Sculpture Center, NYC (2010); Miami Art Museum (2011); The Visual Arts Center, Austin (2014); Galerie für Landschaftskunst, Hamburg (2014); the Goethe-Institut, NYC (2014); Nevada Museum of Art (2014); and MoMA/PS1 (2010-11). In 2011-12 Brooks opened Desert Rooftops in Times Square, a 5000 sq. ft. urban earthwork commissioned by Art Production Fund.

Art Talks: David Stein

David Stein is the Dodd Galleries Fall artist-in-residence, who will be working with Professor Erin Moore’s Data Visualization class to create an exhibition that pictures the objects in a days’ newspaper. He will discuss this work among others in a lecture and question and answer period.

Dodd Dialogues With Richard Scott

Dodd Dialogues is a speaker series that is being launched to help current students explore their academic pathways and career options leading up to and following graduation. By connecting students early on with alumni in their careers, students are better able to picture and establish their own personal goals, forging ahead in their own career paths.
