When new teachers walk into their classrooms for the first time, they have a whole new world in front of them. Many of these teachers have no idea what is in store for them. The more experience with children a prospective teacher has, the more in touch this person is with a classroom full of all kinds of children. Through Early Experiences, pre-service teachers learn about the needs of and challenges for children and youth today and can ultimately do their job of teaching more effectively.
