Drawing & Painting - MFA

The graduate program in drawing and painting provides a stimulating and challenging setting for intense creative and intellectual growth.

Students work with a large full-time faculty of active professional artists who represent a wide spectrum of attitudes and involvements in related fields such as film, installation and performance, criticism, folk art, and cultural studies. There is no prevailing ideology or "style" in our program. Students work in modes ranging from traditional figuration and abstraction to filmmaking and new media.
